emagine is looking for an hands on profile within IT Continuity & Disaster Recovery. Not on advisory level. Summary We are seeking a highly experienced IT Continuity & Disaster Recovery Consultant responsible for establishing and operationalizing an enterprise-scale IT Continuity & Disaster Recovery capability within a large, international organization. This role focuses on hands-on delivery, requiring a seasoned contractor with a proven track record in building and managing IT continuity and disaster recovery frameworks at scale. Main Responsibilities • Design and establish the IT Continuity & Disaster Recovery framework end‑to‑end. • Define and author policies, standards, and guiding principles. • Create a governance model, templates, and artefacts such as recovery plans and test reports. • Develop a repeatable methodology for implementation, testing, and continuous improvement. • Conduct Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) across IT/OT and critical business services. • Define and govern Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO). • Implement recovery strategies that are pragmatic and aligned with business priorities. • Embed recovery considerations into architecture and design decisions. • Establish a structured testing and exercising programme for the framework. • Engage with senior IT, security, and business stakeholders for capability implementation. Key Requirements • Extensive experience in establishing and operating IT Continuity & Disaster Recovery frameworks. • Proven delivery of frameworks including standards and processes. • Deep knowledge of IT resilience, continuity, and disaster recovery methodologies. • Experience with Business Impact Assessments (BIAs) and RTO/RPO definition. • Understanding of regulatory and control frameworks (e.g., ISO 22301, ISO 27001). • Fluent in English, both spoken and written. • Ability to operate with high autonomy and accountability. Nice to Have • Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or ISO 22301/27001 Lead roles. • Experience working in large, complex IT environments. • Ability to lead and influence through expertise. Start: ASAP Duration: 7-9 months. Location: Aarhus - onsite presence is needed minimum 3 days / week
