Opis stanowiska
On behalf of a client, we are looking for a senior IT Continuity & Disaster Recovery Consultant to help establish and operationalise an enterprise-wide IT Continuity & Disaster Recovery capability within a large international organisation.
This is a hands-on delivery role, not an advisory position. The client is looking for someone who has built Disaster Recovery and IT Continuity capabilities before and can take ownership of creating the framework, governance, processes, and recovery plans needed to make the organisation resilient.
Main Responsibilities
• Design and implement the enterprise IT Continuity & Disaster Recovery framework
• Develop policies, standards, governance, templates, and recovery documentation
• Conduct Business Impact Assessments (BIA) across IT, OT, and critical business services
• Define and govern Recovery Time Objectives (RTO) and Recovery Point Objectives (RPO)
• Develop practical recovery strategies aligned with business priorities
• Establish repeatable processes for recovery testing, exercises, and continuous improvement
• Embed continuity and recovery requirements into IT architecture and solution design
• Work closely with IT, Security, Infrastructure, Architecture, and business stakeholders to implement the capability across the organisation
Key Requirements
• Proven experience establishing and implementing enterprise IT Continuity & Disaster Recovery frameworks
• Strong hands-on experience with Business Impact Assessments (BIA), RTO/RPO definition, recovery planning, and recovery testing
• Experience developing governance models, standards, and operational processes
• Good understanding of IT resilience, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity methodologies
• Experience working in large, complex enterprise environments
• Knowledge of ISO 22301, ISO 27001, or similar regulatory and control frameworks
• Able to work independently and drive the work from start to finish
• Fluent English
Nice to Have
• CISSP, CISM, ISO 22301 Lead Implementer/Auditor, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor or similar certifications
• Experience from international enterprise organisations
Start: ASAP
Duration: 7-9 months.
Location: Aarhus - onsite presence is needed minimum 3 days / week
