Team description:
The Cybersecurity team is a strategic function within TME’s IT & Digital division, helping protect Toyota’s digital identities, access platforms, and critical business systems across Europe. Joining this team means contributing to the security and resilience of identity services, supporting the secure transformation of workforce, application, and privileged access environments, and working with experienced colleagues from different disciplines and backgrounds to solve meaningful challenges together. The team’s mission is to safeguard digital trust, reduce cyber risk, and enable secure innovation across both business and technology environments. This is an opportunity to build your career in an international environment where you can learn, grow, and make a meaningful contribution from the start.
Role Summary:
We are looking for an Identity Security Engineer (Graduate) who is excited to start a career in cybersecurity and help strengthen identity and access management environments. In this role, you will support the protection of digital identities, help strengthen access governance across enterprise platforms, and contribute to the secure operation of authentication, authorization, and privileged access controls in a complex enterprise setting.
You will work closely with identity specialists, cloud, infrastructure, application teams, and business stakeholders, learning how to embed security into identity processes, manage risk pragmatically, and support alignment with key security and compliance requirements. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who values collaboration, continuous learning, and practical impact, and who wants to grow in a supportive, international environment where different perspectives and experiences are welcomed.
Key Responsibilities: • Support identity lifecycle processes, including joiner, mover, and leaver activities, helping to ensure secure and timely provisioning and deprovisioning of access
• Help maintain and improve identity platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, MFA/SSO, and Privileged Access Management solutions
• Learn how least privilege principles, role-based access controls, and access governance practices are applied across users, applications, and privileged accounts
• Assist in monitoring identity-related alerts, such as suspicious sign-ins, MFA anomalies, and unusual privilege activity, helping to identify risks and escalate where needed
• Support the investigation and response to identity security incidents in collaboration with experienced colleagues and supporting teams
• Help onboard applications into IAM ecosystems, including authentication, provisioning, and governance capabilities
• Contribute to the automation and continuous improvement of identity processes using PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting tools
• Support compliance activities such as access reviews, evidence preparation, and audit readiness related to identity controls
• Collaborate with cybersecurity, cloud, infrastructure, and business teams while building broad exposure to enterprise security practices across the organisation
Qualifications & Skills:
• Qualifications
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• We welcome candidates from non-traditional career paths and those with transferable skills or equivalent practical experience. If you meet many of the requirements, even if not every single one, we still encourage you to apply. We value potential, curiosity, continuous learning, and the perspectives that come from different professional and personal experiences.
• Core Technical Skills
• Basic understanding of identity and access management concepts, including authentication, authorization, and access governance
• Awareness of technologies such as Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, MFA/SSO, and Privileged Access Management, with a strong interest in learning more
• Exposure to scripting or automation with PowerShell, Python, or similar tools would be an advantage
• Understanding of identity-related risks such as privilege misuse, weak authentication, excessive access, and account compromise
• Interest in Zero Trust principles and how identity controls support broader enterprise security, cloud, and infrastructure environments
• Communication & Collaboration Skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to different audiences and a willingness to continue developing confidence and expertise
• Collaborative mindset with an interest in learning from others, building strong working relationships, and contributing positively across teams
• Pragmatic problem-solving approach with strong attention to detail, curiosity, integrity, and a willingness to learn in a dynamic environment
• Desirable Skills
• Exposure to identity governance, access reviews, directory services, or security monitoring through academic projects, internships, or early-career experience
• Interest in compliance, audit readiness, and the secure onboarding of business applications into IAM environments
• Certifications (Optional)
• SC-900, AZ-900, Security+, or equivalent entry-level cloud or security certifications
You have a TOYOTA DNA, this means:
• Courage: you are ready to let go of the easy path to reach challenging targets.

• Creativity: your passion drives you to explore innovative ideas and challenge the impossible.
• Curiosity: you combine imagination and fact-based observation.
