Junior IT Compliance Specialist
Team description:
The Cybersecurity team is a strategic function within TME’s IT & Digital division, supporting the transformation of Toyota’s European IT operations. Joining this team means contributing to resilient security frameworks, helping manage cyber risks in a modern enterprise environment, and playing a visible role in building a proactive security culture across digital assets and operations. The team’s mission is to protect Toyota’s information assets, support regulatory compliance, and enable secure innovation across the organization.
Job Summary
This is an entry level position for a Junior IT Compliance specialist working to ensure the compliance of TME’s IT systems. The position is ideal for a recent graduate looking develop expertise in all aspects of IT compliance.
This is a dynamic, varied and creative role supporting all aspects of TME’s business from R&D and manufacturing to customer service and connected vehicle systems. You will support compliance with regulations and industry standards for a wide range of technologies, including AI, cloud, IoT and in-vehicle IT systems.
There will be opportunities to learn through formal and informal training, self-study and on the job development.
Key Responsibilities
Working together with senior compliance specialists, you will:
• Analyse regulatory requirements and understand their impact on TME’s business and IT systems.
• Support the creation of compliance policies, standards and requirements.
• Support the design & implementation of compliance processes.
• Manage small compliance projects.
• Analyse and resolve compliance issues.
• Provide training and support to Toyota Motor Europe members on compliance requirements and standards.
• Promote awareness of IT compliance across the company.
Required Skills
• Compliance & Regulations — basic knowledge of compliance and regulations e.g. GDPR
• Information Technology — basic knowledge of IT architecture and cybersecurity
• Analytical problem-solving mindset — ability to analyse problems and think systematically.
• Strong teamwork — ability to collaborate with IT application & support, cybersecurity, and legal teams in an international environment.
• Customer‑oriented communication — ability to explain compliance requirements and issues to non-expert users.
• Proactive learning — willingness to stay current with regulatory and technology trends.
• Adaptability — capable of working in a fast‑changing regulatory and technical environment.
• English language — excellent spoken & written communication in English.
Required Qualifications
Degree in IT, law or business, preferably with a compliance or regulation element
Internship or hands‑on experience in compliance or IT
Formal Role Details:
• Job Type: undefined time period contract
• Starting date: Position available since June 2026
• Location: Wrocław, Silver Tower Office Center
• Working Pattern: Hybrid - 2 to 3 days per week in the office, in line with the need
• Reporting line: MW manager / Team Lead
