Are you an expert in network security with a passion for driving strategic cybersecurity initiatives? We are seeking a Network Security Subject Matter Expert to help strengthen our global defenses, reduce risk exposure, and ensure compliance with industry-leading standards. 

About the Role

As a Network Security SME, you will play a critical role in designing, reviewing, and improving security controls across the enterprise network. You’ll lead risk assessments, provide expert technical advisory, and help shape cybersecurity policies that safeguard critical assets. The position also involves mentoring team members, advising on best practices, and driving the adoption of emerging technologies.

Wymagania:
- Strong expertise in cybersecurity controls, industry trends, and risk frameworks.
- Proficiency in IDS/IPS systems, firewalls, and proxy servers.
- Deep understanding of network protocols (TCP, UDP, DNS) and hands-on experience with protocol analysis tools.
- Ability to produce comprehensive technical reports and strategic recommendations.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is an advantage.

Codzienne zadania:
- Lead the development and execution of strategic network security initiatives to protect organizational assets.
- Conduct in-depth security documentation reviews and evaluate firewall rules to identify control gaps.
- Design and implement remediation plans for security vulnerabilities and risks.
- Provide advanced technical guidance on cryptographic mechanisms, network security controls, and data protection projects.
- Drive compliance with global cybersecurity standards and integrate best practices into operational frameworks.
- Conduct risk assessments, develop management plans, and collaborate with multiple business units as part of the first line of defense.
- Serve as a key communicator with regional and global cybersecurity teams to address emerging risks.
- Mentor junior professionals and promote continuous learning and innovation within the security organization.
