Start: ASAP/FlexibleContract: B2B, long term cooperation Work model: 12 days from the Warsaw office per month Project language: English/Polish Business trips: to Denmark occasionally Recruitment process: 1 onsite interview (20-21.04) + 1 online interview The Network Engineer is responsible for providing support on network-related issues, primarily focusing on network security and firewall administration. The main objective is to ensure the stability and security of the network infrastructure across various clients. Responsibilities: • Providing support on network-related issues, with a focus on network security and firewall administration. • Managing daily incidents by troubleshooting, investigating, and resolving network-related tickets for different customers within agreed SLAs. • Handling service requests by implementing network changes for various clients. • Utilizing ITSM systems, preferably ServiceNow. • Conducting network and security audits to maintain network stability for all clients. • Updating the internal knowledge base and sharing knowledge within the department. • Performing general maintenance tasks such as patching, requiring work outside of standard business hours. Requierements: • 6+ years of experience in a similar position with a strong understanding of general networking (routing, switching, firewalling). • Proven experience in troubleshooting and resolving network-related incidents. • Ability to implement network changes and follow procedures while creating new documentation. • Advanced skills/knowledge in platforms such as CheckPoint Firewall, WiFi, DNS, and DHCP. • Additional security knowledge (e.g., Illumio, micro-segmentation concepts) is a plus. • Experience with high-availability data center infrastructures. • Knowledge of the ITIL framework. • Experience working with ITSM systems, preferably ServiceNow. • Experience working in a multinational environment. • Good communication skills and a customer-oriented approach. • Helpful, curious, and proactive with a problem-solving attitude. • Willingness to take on challenges and be a team player, especially in collaboration with teams in Poland and Denmark.
