Quantexa Transaction Monitoring Analyst £450-£500pd Initial 6 month contract 3 days on site in London emagine is a high-end professional services consultancy and solutions firm specialising in providing business and technology services to the financial services sector. The Transaction Monitoring Analyst will support the day-to-day operations of a newly implemented AML Transaction Monitoring platform, Quantexa. This role is critical to the effective assessment, investigation, and remediation of Level 1 alerts, ensuring ongoing compliance with anti-money laundering regulations. The ideal consultant will have hands-on experience in transaction monitoring, alert investigation, and AML control frameworks. Key Responsibilities • Review, investigate, and adjudicate alerts generated by the Quantexa transaction monitoring platform • Work collaboratively with the Level 1 alert adjudication team to ensure consistent and timely alert disposition • Accurately document alert investigations, decisions, and outcomes in line with internal policies • Contribute to the continuous improvement of alert remediation processes and controls • Provide feedback on system functionality and assist with ongoing optimisation of the AML platform • Support the onboarding, training, or guidance of new team members when required Key Requirements • Demonstrable experience in AML transaction monitoring and alert investigation • Strong knowledge of AML regulations, typologies, and compliance standards • Experience using AML monitoring systems, with Quantexa experience strongly preferred • Excellent analytical, investigative, and problem-solving skills • High attention to detail with the ability to manage workload pressure and deadlines • Exposure to additional AML or financial crime monitoring systems • Professional certifications in AML, financial crime, or compliance (e.g. CAMS or equivalent) Our People The ideal consultants will share our values and be aligned with our ways of working.
