Overview: This position will be primarily focused on AWS, Cloud Systems Administration and involved in the design, implementation, and maintaining of secure systems in a mixed Linux, Windows environment. This position will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure new and existing requirements are being met. What you will do: * Design, implement, and maintain secure systems and networks in a mixed Windows, Linux development environments in a mixture of on-prem, AWS and Azure * Develop and implement security measures, policies, and procedures to protect systems and networks against unauthorized access, data breaches, and other security incidents according to industry best practices * Monitor and analyze security logs and events, and respond to security incidents in a timely manner * Conduct security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, industry best practices, and organizational security policies * Automate routine tasks using the right tool for the job whether that’s an automation platform or scripts * Have an eye for details, whether that be contracts, costs, day to day work * Experience of working in a role-based organization and liaising with all the different functional teams to get the job done * Stay updated on the latest security threats, technologies, and industry trends, and provide recommendations for improving security posture * Participate in incident response activities, including investigation, containment, and recovery efforts, as needed * Resolve any system-related problems that may arise in a timely and efficient manner.
