Senior SME – ICT Risk, Resilience & DORA Implementation

emagine is seeking a Senior Subject Matter Expert (SME) on behalf of a client within the banking industry to support and drive a critical regulatory and operational resilience initiative. Start: 2026-05-12 Duration: 2026-12-31 (extension could be possible) Location: Sweden or Finland (Hybrid, 3 days onsite per week) Assignment Overview This is a hands-on assignment for a senior consultant with strong expertise in ICT risk, operational resilience, and DORA implementation. The consultant will play a key role in driving deliverables, ensuring regulatory compliance, and strengthening business and ICT continuity capabilities across the organization. Key Responsibilities • Drive and support the implementation of DORA-related requirements across the workstream • Identify, assess, and document business and operational functions, including end-to-end value chains, data assets, ICT environments, and dependencies • Assess criticality of functions and facilitate Business Impact Analyses (BIA), including defining RTOs and RPOs • Contribute to the development of business continuity and ICT recovery plans • Support the design and implementation of controls related to ICT risk and operational resilience • Collaborate with stakeholders across business, IT, and resilience functions • Analyze and interpret DORA requirements and related regulatory technical standards Required Experience & Competence • Extensive experience within ICT risk management, business continuity, and ICT recovery planning • Strong understanding of ICT environments in a business context • Proven experience conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIA) and mapping dependencies to ICT environments • Proven hands-on experience with DORA implementation within the financial services sector • Solid understanding of regulatory frameworks, internal controls, and ICT risk governance • Experience working in large and complex organizations with multiple stakeholders • Ability to work independently and drive execution with limited guidance • Ability to bridge business and IT perspectives with a holistic approach Meritorious Experience • Experience working with ISO 22301 • Experience with process mapping and BIA documentation frameworks/tools • Previous consulting experience • Nordic language skills are considered an advantage Consultant Profile We are looking for a proactive, structured, and execution-focused consultant with strong analytical capabilities and excellent stakeholder management skills.
