Unleash the Power of Cloud Security — Lead the Future of Secure DevSecOps Innovations! Krakow-based opportunity with hybrid work model. As a Senior Software Security Delivery Lead – Cloud Security & DevSecOps, you will be working for an industry-leading project focused on transitioning from vendor-locked, costly platforms to a high-performance, open-source ecosystem built on GCP. You’ll drive end-to-end delivery, champion automation, security, and scalability in a dynamic polyglot environment, shaping the future of cloud-native security solutions and digital transformation. Your main responsibilities: • Lead technical orchestration by bridging business strategies with seamless technological execution, proactively identifying architectural risks and technical debt. • Champion DevSecOps best practices, ensuring automation, compliance, risk management, and definition of done are embedded in every process. • Manage daily operations by overseeing sprint health, removing blockers, and facilitating high-efficiency standups to ensure system stability and feature delivery. • Provide hands-on support through code reviews, infrastructure troubleshooting, and deep dives into production incidents to uphold high-quality standards. • Advocate open-source tools, guiding the team in selecting and implementing solutions to replace proprietary platforms efficiently. You're ideal for this role if you have: • Over 10 years in software development, with recent hands-on experience in at least two core languages (Java, Python, Node.js, or Go). • Solid understanding of Google Cloud Platform services such as GKE, Cloud Run, Identity-Aware Proxy, and Cloud SQL (PostgreSQL). • Proven experience leading cross-functional Agile/Scrum/Kanban teams, with excellent stakeholder management skills. • Practical knowledge of security-first delivery practices—container security, secrets management (KMS), and compliance-as-code. • Ability to leverage DORA metrics for continuous improvement and data-driven leadership. It is a strong plus if you have: (optional)• Experience within FinTech or highly regulated security environments that emphasize “Security by Design”. • GCP cost optimization expertise and resource management skills. • Broader problem-solving capabilities with a holistic approach.
