Advanced practical experience with Windows IoT Enterprise, Windows Client and Windows Server, including OS configuration, tailoring and image lifecycle support.
Strong hands‑on expertise in automated configuration and image management using PowerShell, WMI, GPO and DISM; proven ability to script and automate complex configuration tasks.
Solid background in networking and system security: TCP/IP (IPv4 \u0026 IPv6), firewall concepts, OS hardening and security baselines, WLAN certificates and enterprise domain integration.
Experience with hardware‑close troubleshooting and interaction with drivers, firmware and hardware interfaces in a Windows environment.
Proficiency in object‑oriented programming, preferably in C++ and/or C#.
Experience with virtualization and storage management (partitioning and image handling) using tools such as Hyper‑V, Docker, Acronis or equivalent.
Familiarity with encryption techniques and tools (for example VeraCrypt or equivalent) and their deployment within operational environments.
Practical experience with automation across build pipelines, DevOps practices and integration with test frameworks is desirable.
Experience in regulated industries (for example medical devices or embedded systems) and exposure to validation and compliance activities is advantageous.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, demonstrated ability to work independently and to communicate technical issues clearly to stakeholders.

We are seeking an experienced Senior Windows IoT Hardening Engineer to join a security‑focused team responsible for configuring, securing and validating Windows IoT Enterprise, client and server systems in complex, compliance‑driven environments. The person in this role will lead technical hardening activities, develop automated configuration and imaging solutions, and support integration with enterprise networks and test frameworks.

Zakres obowiązków:
Design, implement and maintain OS configuration, tailoring and image customization processes for Windows IoT Enterprise, Windows Client and Windows Server.
Develop and maintain automated system configuration workflows, including driver integration, registry and permission management, system and security settings using PowerShell, WMI, Group Policy (GPO) and DISM.
Define and apply OS hardening baselines and security configurations; maintain and document security controls and compliance artifacts.
Investigate and resolve low‑level hardware and driver interactions, firmware issues and platform integration challenges.
Collaborate with networking and security teams to implement TCP/IP (IPv4/IPv6), firewalling and WLAN certificate solutions and to support enterprise/domain integration.
Contribute to software quality assurance and system validation efforts, including test case definition and execution in regulated or safety‑critical contexts.
Automate build and deployment pipelines for OS images and configuration artifacts; integrate with DevOps pipelines, test frameworks, HiL and SiL environments as needed.
Provide clear technical documentation and guidance to internal stakeholders and support cross‑functional alignment on security and operational requirements.
