Team Lead / Cloud Solution Architect (AWS)

O projekcie: We work in a hybrid mode - we offer up to 12 days of Home Office monthly. We offer work agreement. We’re looking for a technical team leader who combines people leadership with hands-on architecture work in AWS. You’ll lead a team of 7 engineers working on an ingestion gateway for the ESET XDR platform — a system processing large volumes of security data for enterprise customers. This is not a pure management role — you’re expected to stay close to the technology, shape architecture decisions, and actively help the team solve technical challenges. Expected split: ~70% technical / 30% leadership. The team is primarily based in Kraków (Poland), with members in Brno (Czechia), and collaborates with HQ in Bratislava (Slovakia). Wymagania: What we expect * Experience leading a technical team (or strong senior ready to step up) * Solid experience with AWS and cloud architecture design * Ability to design and operate distributed systems * Experience with at least one programming language (e.g. C#, Python) * Good understanding of:   * CI/CD   * infrastructure as code   * high availability & security principles * Strong communication skills and cross-team collaboration * English proficiency (daily communication) Nice to have * Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform * Experience with high-throughput / data ingestion systems * Polish (B2+) Codzienne zadania: - Lead a team of 7 engineers (mentoring, feedback, growth) - Act as a technical authority for AWS infrastructure and services - Design and review cloud architecture (scalability, reliability, security) - Work closely with product and engineering stakeholders on priorities and delivery - Improve engineering practices (CI/CD, observability, automation) - Stay hands-on when needed (code reviews, debugging, unblocking the team)
