Design Engineer

Design Engineer *We’re looking for a Design Engineer who enjoys both crafting interfaces and implementing them in code. Our client is building modern subscription infrastructure for ecommerce brands, helping businesses launch and scale recurring revenue products such as memberships, curated boxes, and “subscribe & save” experiences. Backed by experienced founders and leading investors, the company is growing rapidly across Europe and North America. They’re now looking for a Design Engineer to help shape the next generation of their product experience. This is an opportunity to join a lean, highly experienced team where design and engineering work side-by-side to solve complex product challenges. You’ll own interfaces end-to-end - from early concepts and prototypes through to production-ready implementation, while helping define scalable UI foundations for a modern SaaS platform. What You’ll Do • Design and build polished, user-friendly product interfaces • Own complex UI problems from concept to implementation • Create and evolve scalable component-based design systems • Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and leadership teams • Improve usability, consistency, accessibility, and frontend performance • Help shape developer-focused product experiences What They’re Looking For • Strong product design portfolio with shipped digital products • Ability to write clean frontend code and work closely with engineers • Strong attention to detail and product craftsmanship • Experience working with modern UI systems and component libraries • Product mindset with strong problem-solving skills • Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment • Fluent Polish and English Nice to Have • Experience building or maintaining design systems • Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks and tooling • Interest in developer experience and technical products Why Join? • Fully remote work within Poland • High ownership and direct product impact • Small, experienced, product-driven team • Equity participation • Modern tooling and strong engineering culture • Regular team meetups and retreats
