As an inspiring source of energy in our team, you will be expected to take initiatives and drive them, being self-motivated and inspire to change will be a crucial success factor here. The goal here is autonomous teams that feel proud and empowered by creating value for the sales force. Our system is one of the most important systems in the global Sales eco-system. We enable sales on a global scale, while adapting to local markets, serving and empowering thousands of sales representatives daily. We are a team of about 25 people working on making this happen. Our system is undergoing a transformative journey from legacy and reactive fire fighting with outdated processes and ways of working, to a more modern proactive, value and quality first approach. This is being done by improving the system wherever we make changes, in an evolutive maintenance fashion. The current situation: • The application is old, slightly chaotic, and has seen it’s fair share of different eras, and even design systems. • Most design choices were done without UX/UI. • Using most features requires introduction/training, many of interactions to get something done (not well designed or intuitive). • Near future big investments will go into this application, and we need to rectify the old, and do new things right. • Concept, Design and Development processes are slow and new feature adoption is low. Often scopes are big and inaccurate. We want better understanding of the minimal viable as early as possible, develop and ship, then collect feedback and iterate. What’s in place: • Buy-in from both Product and Tech/Devs, we all need Design to create the trifecta. Everyone wants to improve. • Product is excited about having a jaw dropping design process/collaboration in place. • Tech/Devs yearns to discuss and collaborate with design on a daily basis. • Hand-shake about “evolutive maintenance” of the application, if we touch something we also improve it. • A brand-wide design system, that requires extending to be useful. What’s missing: • Research/Design process. • Feedback loops. • Someone with design experience and expertise to propose and introduce concrete processes. • Reliable collaboration between: Product + Design, and Design + Tech/Dev. We are looking for a duo that is not afraid to get their hands dirty. We’re asking you to bring your experience, and ideas, and toolbox, and we’ll figure out the rest together. It’s important to be excited about missing processes, lack of design-understanding, clear requirements etc, this will be a golden opportunity to make impact. It is important to be able to balance strategic visionary work with concrete short-term showcasing some quick-wins, that align with the long-term vision. Why talk about a duo? We’re currently missing dedicated Research/Design/UX/UI capabilities for the application, and we know that we’re asking for a small design-team that will collaborate and complement each other.
