Opis stanowiska
Why join Brack Alltron? At Brack Alltron, you’ll shape experiences used by millions within one of Switzerland’s leading e-commerce companies. We offer the stability of an established organization, combined with the opportunity to drive meaningful improvements, collaborate across cross-functional teams, and see your work make a real impact. Your Mission As a (Senior) UX Designer, you create high-quality, functional user interfaces for Brack Alltron online shops - across devices, languages, and target groups. Your goal is to ensure a seamless, consistent, and user-friendly shopping experience. Gather and use qualitative and quantitative data, mockups, and prototypes, you communicate, validate, and refine design concepts in an iterative process. Collaborating with developers, stakeholders, and the UX guild, you support projects from idea to implementation, always advocating for the user’s needs. Key expertise • Design craft: Create intuitive, mobile-first interfaces users will love. • User research: plan, conduct and consolidate user research using diverse methodologies and tools. • Mobile app design experience: Strong grasp of constraints and dependencies of app design/development. • Design exploration: Iterate and refine designs based on user insights, research, and testing. • UX architecture: Apply best practices in user flows, information architecture, and usability. • User as center point: Solve design challenges with a user-first mindset, while balancing business needs and technical feasibility. • Mobile-first: Prioritize responsiveness and mobile usability, ensuring an optimal experience across all devices. • Accessibility: Ensure inclusive design by following accessibility guidelines and best practices. • Effective collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to align on design goals. • Ownership & autonomy: Contribute to UX discussions, share insights, and foster open feedback loops. Work independently and own your outcomes. Your impact • Solve complex user problems with insightful, data-driven, and state-of-the-art design solutions. • Own the full research-to-design loop - champion user research, synthesize insights and translate them into product decisions that shape exceptional user experiences. • Design with precision and innovation, crafting high-fidelity, responsive and cutting-edge designs. • Lead by influence, advocating for UX best practices and contributing to high-level product discussions. • Foster collaboration - partner seamlessly with designers, product leads, and engineers to create cohesive, user-centric solutions. • Contribute to our open feedback culture, where transparency, constructive challenges, and mutual support help the UX team improve processes and outcomes. What you bring • 5+ years of hands-on UX design experience crafting web/mobile platforms and mobile apps. • Strong problem-solving skills and a strategic approach to design. • A powerful portfolio showcasing exceptional UX/UI design, problem-solving skills, and strategic thinking. • Mastery of Figma - working with component libraries, design systems, and prototypes is second nature to you. • Experience and drive for leveraging AI tools in UX/UI processes • A data-driven mindset - you know when to use qualitative and quantitative research to support decisions. • Excellent communication skills in English. German a plus. • The ability to thrive in ambiguity - you're proactive, resourceful, and eager to take ownership. We’re probably not a great match if you... • Have worked primarily in highly regulated industries without experience in fast-paced, product-led environments and distributed systems. • Expect requirements to be handed to you fully "ready to go," instead of refining them alongside Product Management and striving to truly understand the customer. • View professional development mainly as the employer's responsibility, rather than learning out of your own curiosity. Whether that’s on the job, at an evening event, or simply by picking up a book. • Strictly separate work from having a good time. Bonus points if you have... • E-commerce experience, understanding customer journeys and conversion optimization. • Experience with Flutter app design. • A degree in UX, Interaction Design, HCI, or a related field. • Unique perspectives from diverse experiences outside of design that enrich your design approach. If you’re an autonomous, strategic, and passionate UX designer eager to make an impact, we’d love to hear from you. Apply now and help shape the future of e-commerce at Brack Alltron.
