For one of our clients we are looking for an UI/UX Designer

We are building a proactive talent pool for an international, high-profile public institution based in Brussels. We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer to join our digital product team. In this role, you will help design and optimize internal and external digital tools, platforms, and services used by thousands of stakeholders across Europe. You will work in a "near-site" model, collaborating closely with a multinational team to shape user-centered, accessible, and high-performing applications.

Key Responsibilities
•

User-Centered Design (UCD): Creating user personas, user stories, user journey maps, and usability test plans to guide the product development lifecycle.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Designing high-fidelity wireframes, mockups, and interactive prototypes for complex enterprise systems.
• User Testing & Research: Conducting diverse user testing methodologies, including A/B testing, remote/hallway testing, and eye-tracking analysis to iterate on designs.
• Design Systems & Consistency: Working with and contributing to corporate frontend/component libraries (specifically Angular-based frameworks) to ensure cross-application consistency.
• Accessibility & Compliance: Ensuring all designs strictly align with UX best practices, ergonomics, responsive design principles, data protection/security standards, and web accessibility guidelines (WCAG/W3C).
• Visual & Typographic Design: Creating polished visual layouts, iconography, and graphic assets, as well as customizing internal knowledge-sharing platforms (e.g., Confluence customization).
• Agile Collaboration: Working hand-in-hand with frontend developers, product owners, and business analysts in a dynamic Agile/Scrum environment.

Requirements
• Experience: Minimum 6+ years of professional experience in UI/UX Design and digital product architecture.
• Citizenship: Due to the nature of the institutional project, EU citizenship is strictly required.
• Location: Readiness to work in a near-site/hybrid model in Brussels, Belgium

• Prototyping & Design Tools: Expert knowledge of modern UI/UX tools such as Figma, Balsamiq, InVision, UXPin, Framer.js, and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Core Web Technologies: Solid understanding of HTML5, CSS3, and modern JavaScript frameworks (Angular, React, Vue.js).
• Framework Experience: Hands-on experience or good familiarity with corporate, component-based frontend frameworks (ideally corporate Angular-based libraries).
• Standards: Deep knowledge of W3C standards, WCAG (accessibility), and SEO principles.
