About hubQuest
hubQuest brings together IT and analytics experts to build technology teams from scratch and strengthen existing teams for its partners. We help organisations develop solutions that support their transformation and create meaningful impact.
About the role
We’re looking for a UX Designer at regular level or above to help shape an AI Virtual Assistant for a global organisation operating across the food, beverage, fragrance, health and bioscience sectors.
The application started as a small set of forms. It is now growing into a broader product, with new features, more complex workflows and an ambitious roadmap. It already supports people working on the shop floor with tasks such as reporting observations, using checklists, conducting audits and running status meetings.
You’ll work closely with the Product Owner, developers and stakeholders around the world. The role combines UX design with business analysis: you’ll ask thoughtful questions, understand how people work and turn what you learn into clear user needs, flows and requirements.
What you’ll work on
The product is intended to support both site-level operations and leadership. Its evolving capabilities include incident and event reporting, machine observations, safety audits, documenting safety and quality processes, and tracking actions that need to be completed and reviewed at a site.
The roadmap may also include integrations with other applications, such as tools for monitoring machines, and a conversational experience that can answer questions about what is happening at a site.
You’ll help make these workflows clear and useful for the people who rely on them.
What you’ll do
• Join the Product Owner in meetings with users and stakeholders to understand their needs, challenges and goals.
• Ask clear, relevant questions and help turn complex or incomplete input into a shared understanding of the problem.
• Map user journeys and workflows, then create user flows, wireframes and prototypes to communicate the proposed experience.
• Design and improve the UX of existing and planned features.
• Help translate business needs into user stories, requirements and acceptance criteria in collaboration with the Product Owner and development team.
• Consider the different needs of shop-floor users, site teams and leadership.
• Identify friction, gaps and dependencies across workflows and integrations.
• Validate ideas with users and use feedback to refine designs.
• Work as part of a team with daily stand-ups and two-week sprints.
You can use whichever design tools work best for you. What matters is that you can clearly map and communicate the user flow.
What we’re looking for
• Experience as a UX Designer at regular level or above.
• Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with users and stakeholders.
• The ability to ask good questions, listen carefully and understand what people need, including when their requirements are not yet clearly defined.
• A practical understanding of business analysis: structuring information, identifying needs and translating them into workflows and requirements.
• Experience creating user flows, wireframes and prototypes.
• The ability to explain design decisions in terms of user needs and business goals.
• A collaborative approach to working with Product Owners, developers and business stakeholders.
• Very good English, spoken and written, for day-to-day collaboration with international teams.
Experience with internal business applications, manufacturing environments, shop-floor tools, safety or quality processes, audits, checklists or incident reporting will be an advantage.
What we offer
• A part-time B2B engagement of 20 hours per week, typically around 4 hours per day.
• A fixed-term contract through 31 December 2027.
• Significant flexibility in how you arrange your working hours. You’ll need to be available from 14:00 to 16:00 on two days each week. For the remaining hours, we’ll agree a schedule that allows for collaboration with the team and, when needed, meetings with stakeholders.
• The opportunity to shape a product as it grows from a simple application into a broader tool supporting operational and leadership needs.
• Close collaboration with the Product Owner, developers and stakeholders from different parts of the world.
• A Scrum-inspired way of working, with daily stand-ups and two-week sprints.
• A friendly, non-corporate environment, flexible working arrangements, private medical care and a Multisport card.
Please add to your CV the following clause:
"I hereby agree to the processing of my personal data included in my job offer by hubQuest spółka z ograniczoną odpowiedzialnością located in Warsaw for the purpose of the current recruitment process.”
