Nasze wymagania: 5+ years’ experience in IT support, ideally including Vessel IT or marine/operational IT environments, with a relevant degree or professional certifications. Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11, Windows Server, Microsoft 365, and core IT infrastructure (Active Directory, endpoint management, ITSM tools). Solid understanding of IP networking and security concepts (VLANs, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, DNS, endpoint protection). Experience with satellite communications and troubleshooting remote connectivity issues. Willingness to travel worldwide Fluent English (written and spoken). Zakres obowiązków: Vessel IT Engineer - Job Overview With a focus on safety, reliability, and efficiency, the Vessel IT Engineer is part of a 5-person Global Vessel IT team responsible for supporting the fleet of vessels with IT and communications needs, as well as providing office IT support for the Gdynia office. This role works alongside a Senior Vessel IT Engineer as a two-person team in Gdynia, with vessel operations support as the core responsibility. Office IT support for the Gdynia office is a secondary but important part of the role. The Vessel IT Engineer also collaborates closely with the wider Navigator Gas IT team, which provides global support from multiple locations. The Vessel IT Engineer is a proactive and reliable IT professional who can balance both Vessel IT and Office IT responsibilities, prioritise tasks effectively, and apply strong technical knowledge. The role requires excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. The Vessel IT Engineer reports to the Group Vessel IT Manager based in London. This is an on-site role, with occasional remote work in accordance with Polish labour law. Responsibilities Support Vessel IT operations across the fleet, proactively resolving IT issues and contributing technical expertise to Vessel IT projects. Perform root cause analysis on support cases, guide end users through troubleshooting processes, and maintain detailed documentation for escalation where needed. Ensure onboard IT networks and satellite communications systems are correctly configured and stable to maintain business continuity. Administer PMS, Active Directory, and specialised applications to support user accounts and access management. Specify, procure, configure, and deploy IT hardware for vessels and office staff, in alignment with Vessel IT standards and under the direction of the Vessel IT Manager. Carry out day-to-day maintenance and monitoring of infrastructure assets across the fleet. Install, test, maintain, and support general and marine applications. Execute IT tasks and changes in accordance with change management processes, operational risk assessments, and documentation requirements to ensure auditability and system stability. Ensure Vessel IT documentation and inventories are kept up to date. Maintain strong working relationships with third-party support vendors and suppliers. Provide day-to-day Office IT support for the Gdynia office, including Microsoft 365 and Active Directory administration, end-user devices, applications, printers, and meeting room AV solutions. Manage onboarding and offboarding processes: requirements gathering, device setup and configuration, access provisioning and removal, and equipment tracking. Support cybersecurity controls for vessel and office environments, including patching, endpoint protection, access control, and basic security assessments in line with company standards. Collaborate closely with the wider IT and Service Desk team.
