As an IT Ops Engineer & Team Leader, you will lead the IT Operations function at Efigence – owning the strategy, budget and day-to-day delivery of IT services across the organization. You will manage a team of IT support specialists, drive security and compliance of the infrastructure and ensure fast, effective resolution of IT issues. Combining hands-on technical expertise with leadership and budget ownership, you will shape how IT Operations supports both on-site and remote employees – developers, designers and business teams alike. What you will do: Leading IT Operations Function 🔹Lead and manage agile (small) IT Operations team setting priorities and ensuring effective day-to-day performance 🔹Prepare and control budgets for software licenses, hardware, and other IT expenses 🔹Take ownership of security and compliance of the IT infrastructure 🔹Take ownership of effective and rapid response to ongoing IT issues across the organization 🔹Co-create the strategy for IT Operations and related processes, and drive its execution IT Operations & Infrastructure 🔹Prepare and configure workstations for new and existing employees — including hardware selection advisory, procurement coordination, and setup in line with company standards 🔹Resolve day-to-day IT issues reported through the ticketing system, ensuring timely and effective resolution 🔹Advise on IT hardware selection and configuration; manage procurement of IT equipment 🔹Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT assets (hardware and software licenses) Systems & Platform Management 🔹Provide support across Windows, macOS, and Linux environments 🔹Manage configuration orchestration using Puppet 🔹Administer Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions, preferably Mosyle 🔹Manage and administer Microsoft 365 environment Collaboration & Delivery 🔹Work closely with the system administration team to align on infrastructure and operational priorities 🔹Execute IT operations and helpdesk projects as assigned by the company The profile we are seeking: ✅3+ years of experience in IT operations, helpdesk, or infrastructure support roles ✅Proven experience leading or coordinating an IT support team ✅Strong knowledge of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems ✅Experience with Microsoft 365 administration ✅Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (Puppet preferred) ✅Experience with MDM solutions (Mosyle preferred) ✅Familiarity with IT asset and license management processes ✅Experience with VPN solutions and hardware security keys (e.g., YubiKey) ✅Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills across hardware and software ✅Ability to manage vendor relationships and evaluate contractor performance ✅Excellent organizational skills with attention to cost control and documentation ✅Strong communication skills – comfortable supporting both technical and non-technical users ✅English – B2+ (technical documentation, communication with international teams) ✅Polish – B2+ (daily communication) ✅Hybrid work model – regular presence in our Warsaw office required Nice to have: ✅Experience with ticketing systems (e.g., Jira Service Management, Freshdesk, or similar) ✅Familiarity with IT security best practices and endpoint protection ✅Experience in a digital agency, software house, or consulting environment ✅Knowledge of network infrastructure basics (DNS, DHCP, firewalls) ✅ITIL Foundation certification or equivalent knowledge What Can You Expect from Us? 🌍Career & Development – Trainings, workshops, and collaboration with top industry experts 🌍Exciting Challenges – Work with leading financial market brands and award-winning projects 🌍Supportive Team – Knowledge sharing during Wednesday Wisdom meetings & tech breakfasts 🌍Autonomy & Innovation – We welcome your ideas and initiatives 🌍Flexible employment options – choose between B2B or an employment contract 🌍Work-Life Balance – Flexible working hours and a culture that values personal time 🌍Hybrid Work Model – Office attendance to be agreed during the interview process 🌍Perks & Benefits – Private medical care, Multisport card, English lessons, training budget and more 🌍Trust & Transparency – Open communication and a culture of feedback Step into the role of IT Ops Engineer & Team Leader and make a real impact by optimizing operations, leading a team and shaping the future of our IT landscape!
