𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐨𝐫 𝐎𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐞𝐫 (𝐌𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞 / 𝐳/𝐎𝐒) We are currently looking for an experienced Senior Operations Integration Engineer to join a strategic team supporting critical Mainframe (z/OS) environments, with a strong focus on production support (RUN), batch processing, scheduling, and operational excellence. This role is ideal for a senior consultant with strong operational expertise in enterprise environments, acting as a technical integrator across infrastructure, application, and operations teams to ensure reliability, continuity, and performance of critical systems. 𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 • Provide Level 2 support for mainframe applications and z/OS environments; • Manage incidents, troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis and recovery actions; • Define, schedule and monitor batch jobs using Control-M and/or TWS; • Supervise production workloads and ensure SLA compliance; • Manage datasets, JES queues, GDGs, catalogs, disk space and system resources; • Support and monitor file transfers, including incident resolution; • Optimize batch chains and contribute to performance improvements; • Participate in releases, deployments and change management activities; • Produce and maintain operational procedures, runbooks and reporting; • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile / DevOps environment; 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐒𝐤𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 • Strong experience in Mainframe Operations / z/OS support; • Solid expertise with Control-M and/or TWS; • Strong knowledge of batch processing and job scheduling; • Experience with JES, GDGs, datasets, catalogs and system resource management; • Experience in RUN / production support within critical environments; • Good understanding of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management); • Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills; • Experience working in Agile environments; 𝐍𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐭𝐨 𝐇𝐚𝐯𝐞 • DevOps / Automation / Observability exposure; • Banking or large enterprise experience; • Experience in legacy-modern integration environments; 🕒 Shift rotation model (08:00–19:00 FR time) If you have strong Mainframe operations expertise and are looking to join a critical enterprise environment, I’d be happy to connect. 📩 Interested? Let’s talk!
